Photo Booth Software in Dubai and the UAE (2026): Rental Rates, AI Booths and Software Costs

Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the most expensive photo booth market in the region. A standard booth rents from 1,500 AED for three hours, a 360 booth from 3,500 AED, and “AI photo booth” is already a package name on UAE rental sites, advertised from 2,000 AED. So the question for a UAE rental company or event agency is not whether clients will pay for AI photos. They already do. The question is what the AI costs you inside that package, and that is where the margin sits.

Packages usually include setup, an attendant, unlimited sessions, digital copies and props, with prints as an option. Transport is billed separately. UAE VAT is 5% on top.
Luxury weddings, corporate galas, brand activations and mall activations all sit in these brackets. The upper end goes further when a brand wants custom branding, prints and a longer run.
The AI economics per event
One credit on AI Photobooth is one AI photo: Live Edit, Face Swap or Style Transfer. For subscribers, a credit pack costs 0.33 EUR per credit.
Take a 100-photo event. That is 100 credits, about 33 EUR, about 140 AED. Inside a 2,000 AED AI package, the AI itself is about 7% of the ticket. The rest of the package is what you already sell today: the booth, the attendant, the props, the transport.
At 300 photos, the Pro subscription’s monthly allowance covers the whole event with no extra credits. A busy month with three such events uses 900 credits: 300 included, 600 bought at 0.33 EUR, about 198 EUR, about 825 AED, against 6,000 AED or more of package revenue at the 2,000 AED price point.
There is no per-event fee and no watermark. The number of events you run in a month does not change the software bill. Only the number of photos does.
What the software costs in AED terms
Prices are in EUR. A UAE company pays the EUR price and the card converts to AED. At about 1 EUR = 4.17 AED:

VAT and invoicing
AI Photobooth is sold from Lithuania, in the EU. A business outside the EU pays no EU VAT, so the EUR price on the pricing page is the price on the invoice. Your own invoices to clients carry 5% UAE VAT as usual. The software is an expense from a foreign supplier, like any other.
White label for agencies
Event agencies in Dubai often present the booth under their own brand, or under a client’s brand for an activation. The Enterprise plan is white label: the guest screens, delivery pages and emails carry the agency’s logo, not ours. What guests get
The AI modes are chosen per booth from the dashboard:
- AI styles from a text prompt. You write the look, the guest gets it: desert at dusk, the skyline at night, a wedding theme in the client’s colours.
- Face swap into a scene or a character.
- Virtual try-on. Fashion in general, and abaya or kandura styling for a fashion brand or a mall activation. The guest sees the garment on themselves, from their own photo.
- Product placement for brand activations.
- Singing photos (Jingle). The guest’s photo sings a short jingle.
- Real-time AI video on screen.
Delivery is by QR code, with email capture, an event gallery, a leaderboard and analytics for the client report. The site is also in Arabic at aiphotobooth.eu/ar/.
Hardware
The Windows app runs on a laptop or a mini PC with a webcam, a Canon or a Nikon camera, and prints on DNP and HiTi printers. The Android tablet app (“AI Photobooth Pro” on Google Play) runs the guest screens on a tablet. The iPad app is in review. Any of these fits a standard booth shell, a mirror booth frame or a tablet stand you already own. The software is separate from the hardware, so an existing fleet can be switched over without buying new shells.
Internet
The AI runs in the cloud, so the booth needs internet. Venue WiFi in hotels and malls usually works. A 5G hotspot is the backup for outdoor venues and for venues where the guest network is throttled. One photo is one upload and one download, so the bandwidth need is small, but the connection must be there for the whole event.
